Founder of Rohri.net and the Indus River Heritage Network • Heritage researcher • Content creator • Digital storyteller
Sayed Sajjad Hussain Shah Musavi, known online as Sajjad Musavi, is a heritage researcher, content creator and digital artist from Rohri, Sindh, Pakistan. He has been publishing online since 2003 and is the founder of rohri.net and its sister portal sukkur.net, which together form the Indus River Heritage Network.
Biography
Sajjad began blogging in 2003, when very little about the heritage of Rohri and Sukkur was available online. What started as a personal blog grew into rohri.net, a long-running digital archive of the ancient city, its bridges, shrines and everyday stories, and later into a network of heritage sites.
His work is rooted in the place he comes from. He combines research, fieldwork, photography, conversations with local people and digital tools to record places and stories that might otherwise go undocumented, and to share them with a global audience.
